The Oregon State (capital Salem) in the United States of America (capital Washington, D.C.) has a number of places to visit (www.placestoseeinoregon.com). Here are the ones that I wish to visit :
1) Three Sisters Volcano
The name of the volcano comes from its three connected peaks, which are Faith (the north), Charity (the south), and Hope (the center). The volcano is based in the Cascade Range area of Oregon.
2) Mount Hood
Things to Do : Hiking (Spring), Skiing(Winter), Camping, Visit Brewpubs
3) Multnomah Falls :
Multnomah Falls plunge down 620 feet. From the information center, you can hike 1.2 miles and climb approximately 600 feet to the top of the Falls. This trail provides great views of the falls and the Columbia River Gorge. From the top, you can continue hiking six miles to the top of Larch Mountain or make a loop with the Wahkeena Loop Trail.
4) Cannon Beach :
Things to Do : Watch HayStack Rock at sunset.
5) Crater Lake National Park :Beautiful Place. Blue, clean and relaxing. Hike upto Garfields Peak. Try stopping at the Rogue River gorge and the natural bridge on the way. Visit in Spring to Enjoy the Rim Drive. Visit Wizard Island, if not too expensive.
6) Washington Park :
washington Park is a big place. This is actually a recreation place rather than a must see place. I would love to visit this place too. There are a lot of places inside the park that can be seen.
Lets see when I get to visit Oregon ! :-)
